Bedford CA ice cream van 1969

Hi guys,

finally got started on the van, its now in many pieces on my friends lock up floor!

im still not sure how to post pics on here but il keep trying,
I need some parts, can anyone help with any spares or point me in the right direction please;

Rear;

shockers
rear bump stop retainers
rear shoes and retainers and springs
rear wheel cylinders
rear shoe adjusters
rear leaf spring bushes
1 x rear flexi pipe
2 x rear leaf springs

front;

gearbox output seal
4 outer track rod ends
front shoes and springs and retainers
front shoe adjusters
4 x front wheel cylinders
2 x front flexi pipes
2 x shockers and brushes
2 x drop link arms with brushes

Yes, distinctive and a cheeky front, but such a lot of glass area!

That will be one very special CA when it's finished and I wish you luck with your rebuild.

Beddy's are just so special, so full of individualism, I suppose that's why we love them so much - well most of the time!!!!!!

hi, have you tried adrian bailey classics email http://www.roverland.eu phone 0113263488 or 07918684626 i phone him for parts as its always worth the chat , he has a deep knowledge of all things bedford ,we are also working on an ice cream van only a cf and adrian has saved the day with unusual parts . good luck john and lou.

someone has offered to make the rear springs at a cost of £400, is that about right or am I being ripped off?

If you have the old springs you should be get them refurbished,I dont know about your area but in Lancashire Rossendale road springs do that sort off work.
