Engine change

I have a 1985 bedford Cf ice cream van and want to change the engine. can anyone help me, will a ford transit 2.5 di fit in a bedford cf

I think this swap has been discussed a few times on here over the years so might be worth doing a search. From what I have heard, its relatively easy to fit, but bloody noisy once in.

fitting a tranny engine means adapting either the sump or the x member.

they can be noisy if you fit the wrong type.

but anything is possible if you want to do it .
