high pitch noise when driving

Hi all, 1st post so hope you can help.
I get a high pitch whistling noise when i take my foot off the accelorator. I thought it was the servo, and there wasn't a vacuum , i had the brake master changed. But the problem is still there.
Anyone have any ideas? Must be a seal somewhere but im stuck. And short on funds .
Just got MOT and now the starter needs doing as well lol.
Its a cf 1986 2L automatic

I would suspect a leaky gasket either Carb to Manifold or Manifold to head.

Won't cost a lot to replace these so you've not lost much if it doesn't cure it !
