Ignition/Steering Lock Problem Have had a problem with an ignition switch on 79 CF 250, managed to find a complete lock & switch from an advertiser on Bedford CF site selling CF parts. It arrived but was well worn, which you would expect for its age, but it was a different make to mine and could not transfer the switch, so as it seemed to work OK except the key was rusty and stiff to turn, suppler said use WD40 and would be fine, OK was better but now the lock will not drop now when you remove the key.Is there any way that I can dismantle this assembly for repairs. My old one was a Nieman but their is no name or make on the other one only numbers. Advice appreciated. ---------------------- | Tue 19 Nov 2013 @ 12:39 |
