Beating the 2.3 Petrol Engine Oil Gremlins

Would be very grateful for some guidance on curing the Slant Four Oil Gremlins - those leaks particularly in the rocker box/cam case area that drip on the hot exhaust manifold, asphyxiating all on board !
The engine is out and the head will be coming off - and I have top and bottom engine gasket sets. All advice warmly received (possibly excluding "Don't bother you're wasting your time" !)

Many thanks

oil leaks

hi,there is a addative you can buy that will help. The best to do is try and fit the gasket properly. On paper and card gaskets,I cover them in new engine oil. This will sofen the material.Make sure the two faces are clean and dry.The rocker gasket I coat in Hylome blue and don't over tighten as you don't want to crush the cork.Cheers+Beers,Jim.
