Accu spark

Hey everyone
I just like to ask if any of you guys has experience with the accu spark electronic ignition kit. Just bought it for about 40 quid but didnt fit it yet.
Would you recommend it or rather stay to the points and breaker?

Regards
David

Ignition

Hi David,I fitted on 3 or 4 years ago and have had no trouble with it except for shorting it out and had to buy a new box, that was my own fault ,The one you are fitting doe's it do away with the points and condencer? As the points are a pain to keep adjusting.Cheers+Beers Jim.

I've been using the luminition set up on my van for years, much stronger spark, ever had to touch it. I've just fitted the accuspark on my Midget, running well. Had Luminition on that before but it broke, almost certainly something to do with what I did to it.

yes it replaces the whole set up and is a reliable system
what's good about it is that it can work with a worn dissy bearing so long as its not to excessive

Is the accu spark the one that fits straight on to your dizzy or the one that you have to remove the dizzy and fit it...... Hope that makes sense..
