Newbie, but oldie!

Hi everyone
We have just acquired our second CF Landcruiser, the first one being about 28 years ago
(Would love to know if she's on here! Registration letters were/are GWN)
We are getting ready to renovate this one, and use her to tow a Portafold caravan (also fibreglass) to shows etc!
We are both knocking on a bit, so work will probably take a tad longer than the last one, but I will, endeavour to bore you all with progress picks as they come along
We will undoubtedly be needing bits and pieces, so be prepared for many questions and requests for recommendations!

Hi and welcome to the site. Looks like a nice wagon you have there. Is there much to do on it to get it as you want it?
BTW, I don't envy you having to pay the ferry toll every time you want to go somewhere plus at the moment any food has to be eaten on the outside decks
I was working at Cowes power station a few weeks ago. I traveled over on the Sunday 8pm ferry from Southampton to Cowes and had planned to have food on the ferry. It was too cold to eat outside so next thought was the restaraunt at Newport Premier Inn. That had closed by the time I got there so it was a mad dash to catch KFC in Newport before that shut. Oh well......

Living on the Iskand has a lot of advantages, but, as you say, that stretch of water is not one of them!!
The van isn't too bad, but we have a few plans for it's renovation, which include a bit of reorganisation!
Oh, btw, the island goes to sleep by 9.00pm!!!
