 Becton's First Big Tour
Well, we're back from our first big tour. Central Scotland to the Isle of Wight. Outbound journey a nightmare - every articulated truck in the country trying to get a close look at us - too damned close sometimes. Slight problem, Ignition light coming on very dim - turned out to be a broken wire at the alternator, discharging the main battery. Sorted by the RAC in less than an hour. Overnighted at Hilton Park MSA. 2 weeks testing the Bedford Bounce on Island Roads. On the return journey overnighted at Chieveley MSA and had a terrible journey northwards next day. A34 closed due to accident, M40 closed due to accident, Stopped at Charnock Richard MSA for another night.
Brilliant trip, 1322.2 miles overall. Saw several other Beddies.
