Another Beddie gets through the MOT !

I've been keeping quiet about this for a while now because I was dredding the thought of a huge bill on top of what I
already paid getting her up to spec .. and my time, and the thought that I may have to sell the old girl, but it was not to be; yesterday, on Monday afternoon, I took me beddie in for its MOT to http://www.hunttrucks.com .... and it PASSED !
I'm so pleased especially as its the first time I took it for the test and was a little worried I would
be told of a catalogue of faults which needed fixing but not even an advisory was mentioned, a
completely clean bill of health. The previous MOT expired back in May but she wasn't ready, starting problem
being the main issue but all fixed now. Just made sure all the main points where covered like
lights, tyres, wheels, corrosion, new front number plate, replaced the fuel tank also.
And just to put icing on the cake, when I pulled up at me local for the one pint
a woman in a car asked me if I wanted to sell it, she was really taken by it; now if she asked me that a few
months back I may have said yes but I think I will be keeping it for a bit longer yet. Just want to also mention
a big thank you to the site and all ye fellows out there for helping with my various questions about this beast.
Hoping to go for me first proper trip this week to Sussex for a few days to see the Shoreham airshow, still a lot of work
to do but getting the MOT is very encouraging.

Well done Zarnticolz, a long time for a reply to your post but I've just found it, looking around for info etc. I've just got my Beddie up and running after lying doggo through the winter (your summer - I'm down under in NZ). Needed some welding in the back for mine and an additional brace for the box at the back. A new wheel joint and engine mount. Got the joint in Christchurch ($70 - about 20+pound) but had to send to Auckland for the mount. Got the WOF (MOT), but then she wouldn't start and I had to have a push out of the testing station to get going

Hope you made it to Sussex. I'm heading for a place called Staveley, central Canterbury, near the alps in the new year. About an hours drive and a good tester.
